Today has been really hard. I’ve had my dog since I was 9 and she’s been my best friend ever since. I know that sounds corny but I’ve been through a lot and my dog has been the only consistent thing in my entire life. I look around my house and I see her toys and her treats laying around and it breaks my heart. I’ve never been away from her for this long. I never go anywhere without her. I have brought her to sleep overs and dinners and movies. And even though she isn’t with me any more I can still smell her and hear her feet pitter patter across the floor. I have never ever been more broken hearted.
